Requirements Of CBI (Credit card)

Need to know how to apply for the card


Customer can visit the nearest branch of CBI or can contact call centres. Alongwith the application form duly completed, he has to submit his income proof (I. Tax return xerox copy or salary slip) to the nearest branch of CBI.

Min. 7 days


The ATM locations where the card member can withdraw cash from


Any bank's ATM which is having Mastercard/Maestro/Cirrus logo.


The rate of interest charges for withdrawal of cash.


Cash advance fee ( 2.5% of amount withdrawn + Mastercard fee, at present Rs.100/- approx.) is charged. If amount is paid on due date then no interest is charged. If it is not paid on due date, interest @ 2.5% monthly is charged.


If any transaction fee is applicable for cash withdrawal.

Once in a month. Due date is 15th of every month (subject to change).


If any late charges is charged and the amount charged


No late charges. However, in case payment is not made on due date, interest @ 2.5 % monthly is charged.


If we charge card members for outstation cheques.


For payments we do not receive outstation cheques directly. Our branches are issuing DD's free of any charge for payments of Centralcard dues.


How does the card member make payment? (mode)


By local cheques at designated branches of CBI / collection centres. By DD directly to Centralcard. DD should be payable at Mumbai. List of collection centres are as under:

Zonal Office: Agra, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chennai, New Delhi, Raipur, Patna.

Regional Offices: Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bhubaneshwar, Cochin.

Branches: Akola, Amravati, Bangalore (City, Brigade Road, Miller Road), Chandigarh - Sector 17-B, Hyderabad Main, Secundarabad, Jalgaon, Hazratganj, (Lucknow), Nagpur Main, Pune Camp, Muzzafarpur, Vijaywada, Visakhapatnam.


What is to be mentioned on the cheque for making payments?

Cheques should be in favour of "CBI A/c Centralcard". Cardholder's name and card numbers should be mentioned on the reverse of the cheque.

For lost card is FIR required

Yes

Where do we block the card? The fax No. where the the c/m will fax a letter.

Lost card can be reported to call centres and our department over phone or Fax No. 91-22-22024004. Call centres, after verification of name of C/H should immediately arrange to block the card and inform to our department by fax.

Will the card member be charged service charges for filling petrol and purchasing railway tickets?

Yes, @ 2.5%. Additional Rs.30/- is charged by Railways in case of tickets.

When will the c/m get the ATM Pin No.

Few days after receipt of card.

Can a card member request for duplicate statements

Yes, to our department.

How many add-on cards can a member apply for and the annual charges for the add-on card.

Maximum Two add-on Cards. However for only those cards where income of parent card is more than Rs.75000/- OR credit limit of Rs.15000/- is sanctioned on Card.

Can a card member fix a limit on his add-on card

No

What is the repayment process (is it 5 % or Rs. 100 whichever is higher)

It is a charged card and payment has to be made on due date. Repayment is accepted after due date also. However, service charges @ 2.5 % monthly is applied.

What is the interest charged on revolving credit

At present, revolving credit facility is not provided.

Is there any loyalty program.

No

Need to know the procedure for enhancement of credit limit

Cardholder has to apply through letter giving his annual income details and assets/liability details and proof thereof.

Need to know the address, telephone, number and the contact persons for the credit card division.
